From the beginning of 2021, unified electronic visa will be introduced in Russia. The regulation on the procedure for its registration was approved by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The electronic visa will be issued on a specially created website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or using a mobile application. You can get it for tourist, business, humanitarian and guest trips.
No invitations to enter Russia are required. In order to obtain such a visa, a foreigner will only need to fill out an application form, upload a copy of a passport, personal photo, pay a consular fee of $ 40 (for children under 6 years old – free of charge) and wait for notification.
The registration process will take no more than four days. Such a visa will be valid for 60 days from the date of receipt, but a foreigner is allowed to stay in Russia for no more than 16 days.
