The Federal Law dated June 08 2020 No. 182-ФЗ “On Amending the Federal Law on the“ On migration Registration of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Russian Federation ” was published.
Main changes:
Foreign citizens who have their own housing will be able to register citizens from other countries;
The foreigner can provide a notarized power of attorney if the owner of the house is not in the Russian Federation.
An application for registration at the place of residence is submitted personally or electronically through the public service gosuslugi.
